Submit Your Student Aid Story

Guidelines:

• Please review examples from recent years. These stories demonstrate the importance of specific New York State financial aid programs — TAP, HEOP, STEP/C-STEP and the Liberty Partnership Program.
• Enlist the participation of a student who depends upon financial aid to attend your college or university. Ask the student to describe what receiving state financial aid means in his or her life. The essay should be between 300 and 400 words long.
• Complete the brief online questionnaire below, and attach a high-resolution photograph of the student, preferably in color.
